It'll be be a Blog, with some extra informations about the group. I tryied to make everything as simple as I could, as they will have to update the information themselves. The header will be random, with 3 variations, based on the posters.
I've been absent from DeviantART for some time now (much to my horror), and this is the first Deviation I opened from the over two hundred others in my Inbox. And I want to comment on this piece, but I'm speechless.
Wow. The illustrations are brilliant. No, perfect. The logo magnificant. The use of the Union font (which happerns to be my favourite) amazing. Yeah, there's absolutely nothing wrong in there. Everything is perfectly proportioned. The color palette is inspiring, to say the least.
So, thank you. For making me realise with full effect why I love DeviantART and your work so much ...
Though, as always - I've got a suggestion. Instead of making the banner images appear randomly, why don't you create three different color palettes using CSS. Then users would be able to choose the version they'd want to see. (Kind of like CSSGarden). I found the script for doing this in the forums at SitePoint.com ...
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
